My second hopeful contribution to the "deviantART coloring book". I did not intend for it to look like a young, out-of-shape Yoda backpacking in Europe but...... there you go.
Thanks for looking!
NOTE: If you use this, please link back to it as well as provide me with a link to your work so I can check it out!
Hey, I forgot to say congrats earlier, but I had a stab at colouring this. It's nowhere near as good as your coloured version (how did you do the mist?) but I thought you might like a link [link]
That's really cool, I like the ethereal trees! And congrats to you as well. If I was going to color one of the winners it would have been yours, but my premium membership ran out and I had already won something so... Sorry about the large file size and the dirty, thick line-art. I work a big file and often forget to scale down the upload copy. For mist, I used a transparent layer and, starting in the background, lightly airbrushed white around the base of the trees. Then, erase over the trees that are nearer to the foreground. Repeat the process in front of the trees you just erased over and continue to do so, working towards the foreground. Finally, I just used a more opaque white brush to glitter it up a bit with small dots. I think that was about it, thus concluding my rambling tutorial.
Dear friend, congrats for the winner in recent contest. And i'd like to inform you that i choose your line art for the Thursday : coloring contest. I really appreciate if you wanna check the rendered version in [link]
